Rowing is quite unlike any physical activity found in 'everyday life'. The problems of poor fitness training regimes that exist in many sports become more acute in rowing - the normal diet of jogging and ad-hoc circuit training is unlikely to achieve much. This site sets out suggestions for efficient fitness training for rowers, and would-be rowers, of any level. Its aim is to empower you, the rower to take responsibility for the training of your own body, and for you to obtain maximum fitness benefits for whatever effort, large or small, you are prepared to put in.
